Here’s a list of things to say at your party so you don’t look like a noob:

  1. Super Bowl LVIII’s Historic Setting:“Did you know this is the first Super Bowl ever in Vegas? Allegiant Stadium is one of only two in the NFL with a natural grass field inside a dome. It can be rolled in and out. Pretty cool, huh?”
  2. The Brock Purdy Phenomenon: “Brock Purdy’s story is like something out of a movie. The guy was the very last pick in 2021, nicknamed ‘Mr. Irrelevant,’ and now he’s leading the 49ers to the Super Bowl. Who plays him when they make the movie?”
  3. Patrick Mahomes’ Bounce-Back: “It’s crazy to think Mahomes had a tough season stats-wise, he’s been incredible for the Chiefs. It’s amazing how he’s stepped up under pressure during the playoffs, right?”
  4. 49ers’ Offensive Powerhouse: “The 49ers’ offense is setting records left and right. They’re the first NFL team with four players hitting over 1,000 yards in a season. They’re going to be fun to watch today.”
  5. Chiefs’ Defensive Strategy: “Have you been watching Chris Jones this season? The Chiefs’ defense has been on fire, which has been huge since the offense isn’t scoring as much. It’s been a huge part of why they made it back to the Super Bowl.”
  6. A Little Bit of info on Travis Kelce: “Did you know Taylor’s boyfriend Travis was the first tight end in NFL history to record four consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards? He’s a shoe-in to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.”
  7. A Rematch with History: “It’s pretty cool that today’s game is a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl, where the Chiefs beat the 49ers. Adds a whole new level of drama and revenge to the game, don’t you think?”
  8. Viewership and Social Impact: “It’s crazy to think last year’s Super Bowl had 115 million viewers! It’s become more than just a game and a cultural event uniting so many people.”
  9. The Economic Side: “Apparently, people spend an average of $86 on Super Bowl day. It’s fascinating to see how the game influences not just sports but the economy, too, from snacks to jerseys.”
  10. The Cultural Impact: “I hear Kris Jenner, the Beckhams, Addison Rae and a talking Mayo Cat are supposed to be stars in the Super Bowl ads this year. I heard to watch for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt and the BMW and Kia spots. Can’t wait to see which one will be the talk of the office tomorrow!”
