It’s Super Bowl LVIII weekend in America and despite the excitement surrounding the event for football fans everywhere, those who aren’t big NFL fans might feel uneasy heading out to a Super Bowl gathering on Sunday.

That includes the influx of Taylor Swift fans — or as they are affectionately known “Swifties.”

If you’ve ever been in a social setting with people who are really into something — perhaps a concert for a band you have never listened to — you know, it’s sometimes hard to generate conversation with everyone there. If this is your first time paying attention to the Super Bowl because of your love for, or not, Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce, we’ve got a list of conversation starters you can use so people think you’re a longtime football fanatic.

When it comes to the Super Bowl, even if you’re not a big football fan, the festive mood and array of delectable food creations are something you can get behind. According to those eggheads who crunch numbers, the average American (yes, like, everyone!) will spend over $80 on the Super Bowl this year. That includes food, drinks, party items and apparel.
