In Not-So-Surprising News, Santonio Holmes On His Way Out In New York

Santonio Holmes was set to count $10.5 million against the cap in 2014 with a dead money hit of just $2.5 million. Considering that the 30-year-old veteran has barely over 700 receiving yards in the last two seasons, this isn’t terrible surprising.

New York will be looking at a ton wide receiver options in both free agency and the upcoming draft in May. After all, its depth chart of Jeremy Kerley, Stephen Hill, Clyde Gates and David Nelson doesn’t exactly look too sexy at this point.
