The Connecticut Sun re-signed forward Brionna Jones to a one-year deal on Monday.

Terms of the contract with the two-time WNBA All-Star were not disclosed.

Jones, 28, averaged 15.9 points and 8.2 rebounds in 13 starts in 2023 before sustaining a season-ending Achilles tear on June 20.

“We are looking forward to a full year with Breezy on the floor,” Sun coach Stephanie White said. “She is the ultimate teammate, competitor and leader. She’s worked hard through the process of her recovery and rehab, and we are ready to get to work with her.”

An All-Star in 2021 and 2022, Jones has averaged 9.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 179 games (73 starts) over seven seasons with the Sun. Connecticut drafted her with the No. 8 overall pick in 2017 out of Maryland.
