Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett held a conference call Tuesday evening with some of the team’s season-ticket holders, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Per the report, Forsett received a call from someone who described himself as a second-season diehard Ravens fan from Utah. The caller was actually wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. in attempt to prank Forsett. Here is how the conversation went:

“Hey, Justin, it’s an honor to speak to you. I’ve been a fan since you were like 4-foot-5. … I just want to know, since you got that new contract, has it stopped you from running hard like you used to your first year? Are you still hungry or are you just going to rest on your laurels?”

Forsett realized who he was speaking with and joked:

“There’s no resting on my laurels, Steve. I work hard every day on the field. I think you can attest to that, right?”

Smith then answered:

“I heard they gave you a vet day off yesterday.”

Forsett came right back at Smith:

“Yeah, it was the same one you got off.”

Poking fun at Forsett’s age and height was a humorous case of the pot calling the kettle black. Smith is 36 years old, while Forsett is 29. Additionally, Smith is only one inch taller than the 5-foot-8 running back.

It seems Smith needs to find a different approach in order to fool one of his buddies.
