Stephen Curry sat out Game 2 of the first-round series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets after suffering an injury to his foot. A Warriors spokesperson said Tuesday that Curry is now had an MRI on the injured foot, per Diamond Lueng of the Bay Area News Group.
Thankfully his MRI results came back looking good with no structural damage.

He’s been listed as questionable for Thursday’s Game 3 in Houston.
“It’s the back of his foot,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after Curry missed Game 2. “It’s underneath the ankle. It’s something down there.”
Curry isn’t needed to dispatch the Rockets in a seven-game series, so this isn’t an immediate concern.
Curry averaged 30.1 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game this year during the regular season. He also dropped an NBA record 402 three-pointers and is the NBA’s most potent offensive force.
Without him in the lineup, even as deep as Golden State is, the Warriors will struggle to beat their key rival in the west, the San Antonio Spurs. Hopefully Curry can recover to full strength before they reach that point, because this team’s chances of repeating key on his ability to score points and harass opposing guards on the other end of the court.
