Stephen Curry’s game-worn ‘Moon Landing’ shoes sell for $58K at auction

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry made headlines and sparked a national discussion recently when he hinted he didn’t believe humans didn’t really land on the moon.

Since then, he’s not only met up with NASA and amended his ways, but he also trolled himself a bit while turning the entire thing into a charitable fundraising event with some custom “Moon Landing” shoes.

He wore them recently in a game against the Houston Rockets and then put them up for auction to benefit STEM education initiatives in Bay Area schools.

After the auction had concluded, we learned someone paid $58,100 for the “Moon Landing” shoes, which of course were signed by Stephen Curry, who’s been a tremendous sport about the entire thing.
