Steelers OT responds to Myles Garrett wanting to sack Ben Roethlisberger

Defensive end Myles Garrett getting selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns automatically pairs him up against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger twice per season.

Coincidentally enough, Big Ben is the quarterback Garrett said he first wishes to meet.

Roethlisberger’s right tackle Marcus Gilbert was quick to respond to Garrett’s remarks.

It looks like Garrett will get his wish in the season opener when Cleveland hosts Pittsburgh in Week 1. Garrett was responsible for a total of 31 sacks during his three seasons at Texas A&M.

This is an area that Cleveland lagged badly at last season. The team as a whole tallied only 26 sacks on the season, tying for the second-worst mark in the league.

As for Gilbert, it looks like he is up for the challenge of stopping Garrett from putting up his very first NFL sack.
