Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has interesting take on Mike Glennon

Bears quarterback Mike Glennon was atrocious in return to Tampa Bay. Butterfinger

We can be pretty sure that Chicago Bears quarterback Mike Glennon has never been called “statuesque” in his entire life. That’s until the head coach of his Week 3 opponent, Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers, threw out this dandy little quote on Tuesday.

Mike Glennon, the runway model? Maybe, he somewhat looks like a tall skyscraper beaming up from a city street. Or, maybe he’s just a quarterback that turned the ball over three times in a disastrous Week 2 performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At 6-foot-7, Glennon is a tall figure in the backfield. He also weighs just 225 pounds, which has drawn comparisons to Napoleon Dynamite.

And for good reason.

Maybe the Steelers are hoping Glennon is nothing more than a statue in the team’s Week 3 game against Chicago. That would likely lead to the quarterback getting the tater knocked out of him in what should be a lopsided affair.

Yes people, we’re all about that punny action over here.
