On Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys announced that Jason Witten is coming out of retirement to play for them once more in 2019.
Jason Witten has decided to end his retirement and return to the #DallasCowboys for what will be his 16th season.

Recently, Witten made it clear in an interview that he did miss the game and that he actually wanted to play last year. It’s also noteworthy that his pursuit as a broadcaster was an abject failure last season.
Still, this is a huge shock. Witten is going to be 37 once the 2019 NFL season rolls around, and his production dropped off during his final seasons with the Cowboys before he retired.
Needless to say, Witten’s decision to return to the game stunned the sports world.

If Jason Witten can end his retirement, hopefully Bobby Bell, Willie Lanier and Emmitt Thomas can get back out there for the Chiefs defense. God knows they wouldn't make them any worse.
