Sports fans around the United States and the world are in a dire situation. No live sports as the world continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

This has forced networks to get pretty darn creative with their broadcasts. That previously included CBS re-airing an iconic NCAA Basketball Tournament Game between the Duke Blue Devils and Kentucky Wildcats.

ESPN has now gotten the message. The four-letter network broadcasted the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, one of the greatest national title games ever, Thursday evening.

Some of you might be too young to remember the game. It’s since been hailed as former Texas quarterback Vince Young’s coming out party after a late touchdown led his Longhorns to a shocking win over the heavily favored Trojans.

It really was something to behold.

Getting their fix in while watching this classic game, sports fans responded in kind.
