Soniqs Esports apparently released their entire roster just hours after Sunday’s defeat in a North America Valorant Challengers League qualifier.

Dylan “runi” Cade, William “shonk” Kittrell, Bryce “PureR” Lovell, Kevin “mina” Nguyen and Michael “nerve” Yerrow all posted on social media that they are looking for a new team.

“Worked so hard the past few months just to fall short at the last hurdle,” PureR posted on Twitter. “Proud of how far we made it but just wasn’t enough. … Interested in any opportunities that might be available.”

Soniqs advanced to Sunday’s lower bracket final in the Last Chance Qualifier against OREsports, with the final 2023 Challengers League spot on the line.

OREsports opened with a 13-10 win on Pearl, but Soniqs answered with a 13-11 decision on Fracture. OREsports prevailed with a 14-12 victory on Bind.
