Someone put a very large wager down on Clemson to cover against Ohio State Saturday during the Fiesta Bowl as these two College Football Playoff semifinalists square off.
Jimmy Vaccaro of South Point in Las Vegas shared a picture of a couple of large wagers his shop took in Saturday, and one of them was a $150,000 bet on Clemson (-2.5) to cover.
The battle between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the nation could certainly come down to the wire. Both teams feature plenty of firepower on offense and defenses that have been shutting opponents down all year long.
The winner of Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl will advance to take on the winner of the Peach Bowl between No. 4 Oklahoma and No. 1 LSU.
