Shopify Rebellion stun FlyQuest at LCS Spring Split

Shopify Rebellion pulled off a hefty upset on Saturday, beating FlyQuest in group-stage action at the League Championship Series Spring Split.

Entering Saturday in last place in the standings at 2-5, Shopify Rebellion got the best of FlyQuest while playing on blue to stun the No. 1 team in the group stage thus far. FlyQuest came into the meeting at 6-1, with their only loss coming against NRG on the final day of Week 2.

In other action Saturday, Cloud9 topped NRG in 31 minutes on red. Robert “Blaber” Huang of the United States paced Cloud9 with a kills-deaths-assists ratio of 4-1-11.

American Frank “Tomo” Lam went for six kills, one death and four assists to lift Dignitas over Immortals in 35 minutes on red. No one on Immortals recorded more than three kills.

100 Thieves improved to 5-3 with a 32-minute win on blue against Team Liquid, who saw a modest two-game winning streak come to an end.
