Seattle Seahawks legend Richard Sherman was reportedly arrested on Saturday morning and the former NFL star could be in serious trouble since it is his second arrest in less than two years.

This afternoon, FOX 13 in Seattle was the first to report that Sherman, 35, was booked for driving under the influence at 4:51 AM. The six-time Pro Bowler has not been officially charged with a crime, however, Washington State Patrol officials are reportedly still investigating the incident.

While any arrest is problematic, this one could set up big trouble for the Seahawks veterans because he was previously booked for reckless driving in July 2021 and pleaded guilty to first-degree negligent driving, second-degree criminal trespass, and speeding in a construction zone back in March 2022.

The outlet reported that Sherman received a 90-day suspended sentence and two years of monitored supervision for the 2022 plea and the two-year term had not yet lapsed.

After ending a brilliant 11-year career in the NFL following three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and a five-game stint with the Tampa Buccaneers, the Seattle Seahawks great has transitioned into an analyst role on the Amazon Prime Thursday Night Football pre and postgame shows and recently joined FS1’s “Undisputed” last year.

It is unclear if this latest arrest could lead to a suspension from his role with Amazon or FS1.

Sherman played seven seasons with the Seahawks, earning Pro Bowl honors on four occasions and also inclusion on three All-Pro teams.
