Wandale Robinson, the top recruit for Scott Frost in 2019, was cited on suspicion of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

A University of Nebraska-Lincoln spokeswoman shared the news of the citation on Monday, via Bob Glissmann of Omaha.com.

Police were called to a room at University Suites Saturday night after a community officer smelled marijuana coming from said room. When police arrived, they cited Robinson after finding marijuana in his vehicle, per the report.

The University issued a brief statement acknowledging awareness of the citation, and that it is “addressing it.”

Robinson is a running back/receiver hybrid for the Huskers. He was a four-star recruit out of Western Hills in Frankfort, KY, where he racked up 8,582 yards from scrimmage and 118 offensive touchdowns.
