Less than a year after signing a four-year, $20 million contract with the Chargers, Derek Cox was cut from the team. The reasoning here is simple. Cox sucked big time in his only season with the Chargers (no pun actually intended). San Diego also parted ways with veterans Johnny Patrick and fullback Le’Ron McClain.
