Sam Bradford officially questionable for MNF against Bears

Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford on Monday Night Football

After practicing on a limited basis for the third day in a row Saturday, Sam Bradford is officially questionable for Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback raised our eyebrows on Friday with a statement he made. Bradford admitted he might not be 100 percent healthy at any point this season.

In the one game Bradford did play this year, Minnesota’s offense was unstoppable. He completed 84.4 percent of his passes for 346 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, and the Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints, 29-19.

In the three games since Bradford has been forced out of the lineup with his knee injury Minnesota has lost twice. Case Keenum had one brilliant game in the contest the Vikings won, but he regressed back to the mean in the two losses. Adding to the team’s offensive woes, running back Dalvin Cook was lost for the season after he tore his ACL last week.
