Tom Benson, who owns the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans, has been hospitalized with flu symptoms, the Saints announced Wednesday morning.
Benson, 90, is said to be “resting comfortably.” Per the team’s statement, Benson was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit at Oschner Medical Center.

Benson has been the owner of the Saints since 1985 and the owner of the Pelicans since 2012. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as he receives care for his current illness.
