Ryan Tannehill ‘ripping it’ during Dolphins’ practice Tuesday

It looks like the Miami Dolphins will finally get quarterback Ryan Tannehill back in action this Sunday when they take on the Indianapolis Colts.

Tannehill has been out since suffering a shoulder injury in the first weekend of October. He took “a lot of reps” in Tuesday’s practice and was reportedly “ripping it” to his receivers.

For Miami, this couldn’t come at a better time. Despite some awful play recently by backup quarterback Brock Osweiler, the Dolphins are still in the AFC playoff hunt with a record of 5-5. They’re in a five-way tie for the final wild card slot and can certainly get into the postseason with a strong finish.

In five games this year, Tannehill has completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 972 yards with eight touchdowns and five interceptions. Miami was 3-2 in his starts but has lost five of its last eight games.
