Russell Wilson will attend spring training with Yankees

As Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray reportedly plans to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft and weighs his NFL future, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is spending his offseason preparing for spring training with the New York Yankees.

Mark Rodgers, Wilson’s baseball agent, told MLB Network that Wilson will attend New York’s spring training, just as he did last season.

It’s a moment Wilson certainly seems to enjoy and he has even found success with too. He hit three home runs during batting practice with the Yankees and even received an at-bat during a game.

At least one star quarterback will be playing a little baseball and attending spring training this February. We’ll now just have to see if Murray will do the same.
