NFL Network reporter Rich Eisen runs a 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine every year to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year, he called out Roger Goodell, and the commissioner didn’t back down.
Samantha Rapoport, NFL Senior Director of Football Development, shared the video, and it sure seemed Goodell was moving well.
What does Monday morning in your office look like?

After running a 5.53-second sprint in 2015, Goodell dropped his time to 5.41.
That’ll be tough for Eisen to beat. 2018 marks the 13th straight year he’ll have posted a 40 time at the combine. Eisen has broke the six-second barrier twice, including a personal-best 5.94 in 2016.
But every hero needs a villain — a role to which Goodell is accustomed, many NFL viewers would say. And the 59-year-old commissioner has become the preeminent rival for Eisen, who — win or lose — is doing a great thing for charity.
