Robert Quinn has been suspended for the first two games of the 2019 season for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

His agent, Sean Kiernan, released a statement in which he expressed disappointment that the NFL went forward with this suspension, citing a real medical condition that required medicinal care.

It hasn’t been a good week for the Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher, who suffered a fractured hand and is expected to miss the entire preseason. However, the Cowboys had hoped he’d be healthy enough for Week 1. Now that he’s suspended, his debut with America’s Team will have to wait.

Quinn came over to Dallas in a trade with the Miami Dolphins this past offseason. Last year, he tallied 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
