Anyone who wants a close, in-person look at the much-anticipated rematch between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin better be ready to spend big money.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, a pair of ringside seats recently sold on the secondary market for $36,305.

The first time Canelo and “Triple-G” squared off, the match ended in a semi-controversial 12-round draw. Although the fight itself it was relatively even, one card read 118-110 compared to 115-113 and 114-114 scores.

Hopefully, Round 2 actually determines a winner.

Canelo enters the prime-time bout with a 49-1-2 career record, while Golovkin is 38-0-1 — that draw, of course, coming against Alvarez.

Regardless of whether you’re a boxing fan ordinarily, it’s easy to be interested in the rematch. But shelling out $36,305 is a different level of excitement.
