The New England Revolution signed goalkeeper Henrich Ravas to a three-year contract after acquiring him from Polish club Widzew Lodz.

Ravas’ contract includes a club option for 2027.

Ravas, 26, appeared in 63 matches over parts of the last three seasons with Widzew Lodz in the Ekstraklasa, Poland’s first division.

Ravas has 161 club appearances over seven professional seasons with Widzew Lodz, FK Senica of the Slovak Super League and Boston United, Gainsborough Trinity and Hartlepool United in England.

Ravas, who hails from Senica, Slovakia, led the Ekstraklasa in saves (59) and finished with three clean sheets in 18 league starts during the 2023-24 season.

“Henrich Ravas is a top-quality goalkeeper who has all the tools necessary to fit into our game model and make an immediate impact in our league,” Revolution head coach Caleb Porter said. “We liked his experience, but also his growth over the past several seasons, which gives us confidence that his best years are still ahead of him. My staff and I look forward to working with him and helping him realize his potential in New England.”

Ravas has also served as the backup goalkeeper on the Slovakia national team 12 times, including Slovakia’s 10 UEFA European qualifiers in 2023.
