San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster is not yet cleared on domestic violence charges. The earliest that could come is next week when a judge in the case decides whether to move forward to trial.
What we do know is that Foster’s ex-girlfriend, Elissa Ennis, took to the stand during a preliminary hearing earlier this week to recant. Ennis now indicates that she lied to authorities as a way to ruin Foster following his decision to break up with her (more on that here).
Now comes some more information from the case. According to David Lombardi of The Athletic, Ennis testified that she stole multiple Rolex watches and $8,000 in cash from Foster during their relationship.
Ennis testified she stole 2 Rolexes and $8,000 from Foster. At one point, she said “it was more than $8,000.” How exactly did Ennis steal the money?
“I stole his routing and account numbers when he went to jail."

Ennis took to the stand against the counsel of her attorney. According to the woman, she wanted to set the facts straight.
Whether this new information has any bearing on the outcome of the case remains to be seen. But it’s readily apparent that this past week was a good one for Foster from a legal standpoint.
With that said, the former first-round pick still faces gun charges in California as well as marijuana possession charges in Alabama. Even if this domestic violence case doesn’t go to trial, he’s still facing discipline from the NFL.
