Reports: Mets signing OF Harrison Bader to $10.5M deal

The New York Mets agreed to one-year, $10.5 million contract with Gold Glove outfielder Harrison Bader, multiple outlets reported Thursday.

It’s a homecoming for the 29-year-old Bronxville, N.Y., native, who played for the Yankees for part of the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Bader batted .232 with seven homers, 40 RBIs and a career-high 20 stolen bases in 98 games last season with the Yankees and Cincinnati Reds.

The 2021 National League Gold Glove winner is a career .243 hitter with 59 home runs, 217 RBIs and 77 steals in 635 games with the St. Louis Cardinals (2017-22), Yankees and Reds.
