Knicks, Mitchell Robinson agree to $60M deal

Center Mitchell Robinson agreed to a four-year deal worth $60 million to return to the New York Knicks, according to multiple reports.

Robinson was selected in the second round of the 2018 draft, three picks after point guard Jalen Brunson went to the Dallas Mavericks. Brunson agreed to join the Knicks in free agency with a four-year deal worth a reported $104 million on Thursday.

The 24-year-old Robinson averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 72 games in 2021-22. His career field goal percentage of .722 is among the best in league history with at least 225 games played.

Robinson has played in 230 career games and started 62 games last season. He has career averages of 8.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
