New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and offensive tackle Mekhi Becton are expected to be inactive for Friday’s game against the visiting Miami Dolphins, multiple media outlets reported.

Signed to a four-year, $44 million contract in March, Lazard hasn’t provided much bang for the buck thus far this season. He has recorded just 20 catches for 290 yards and a touchdown in 10 games this season.

Lazard, 27, has 189 receptions for 2,526 yards and 21 touchdowns in 67 games (50 starts) with the Green Bay Packers and Jets. He signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2018.

NFL Network reported Becton is expected to be inactive due to an ankle injury. He had an MRI on Monday and was listed as questionable for the game.

Becton, 24, was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. He was replaced by rookie Carter Warren, the 13th offensive lineman used by the Jets this season, according to NFL Network.

Becton had started every game this season after missing the entire 2022 campaign and all but one game in 2021 after knee surgeries.
