The Philadelphia Eagles traded two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Haason Reddick to the New York Jets in exchange for a 2026 draft pick, ESPN and NFL Network reported Friday.

Reddick, 29, is expected to sign a long-term contract with the Jets, the reports said.

The draft pick is a conditional third-round selection that would rise to a second-rounder if Reddick has double-digit sacks and plays at least 67.5 percent of the Jets’ defensive snaps, according to ESPN.

Reddick, a Pro Bowl selection in 2022 and 2023, fills a void at edge rusher for the Jets after they lost Bryce Huff in free agency to the Eagles.

Reddick started all 34 games for the Eagles the past two regular seasons, amassing a career-high 16 sacks in 2022 and 11 more in 2023. He has recorded double-digit sacks in each of the past four seasons and totaled 58 sacks, 410 tackles and 16 forced fumbles in 114 career games (81 starts) for the Arizona Cardinals (2017-20), Carolina Panthers (2021) and Eagles.
