Report: Warriors’ Stephen Curry had second surgery on broken hand

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry had a second surgery to remove pins from his surgically repaired left hand, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The good news is this wasn’t a setback. Rather, it’s a planned procedure that should have Curry riding the same timeline as the Warriors stated originally for his re-evaluation in February, per Charania.

Golden State has been beset by multiple significant injuries to stars since the season opened up and currently sits in last place among all NBA teams with a 4-19 record.

There have been some reports suggesting Curry could end up taking the entire season off to recover fully and prepare for the 2020-21 season.

However, head coach Steve Kerr has categorically denied that’s on the table and insists Curry will play if he’s healthy enough to play this coming spring.
