There’s finally some good news on the horizon for the NBA’s worst team. Out since the fourth game of the regular season with a broken hand, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will return to the lineup Sunday against the Washington Wizards.

It was always an open question whether it made any sense for Curry to return. Golden State heads into Tuesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings with a league-worst 12-45 record.

The five-time defending Western Conference champs just ruled Klay Thompson out for the remainder of the season after he suffered a torn ACL in last year’s NBA Finals.

As for Curry, he never even thought out sitting out the remainder of the season. Despite their horrendous record, the idea of seeing Curry play with the recently-acquired Andrew Wiggins has to be appealing to Golden State’s brass.
