Report: Von Miller won’t be traded, is not on the block

Contradicting a report from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media shared Sunday morning that Von Miller is absolutely not for sale.

During a segment on NFL GameDay, Rapoport reported that the Broncos have no interest in trading Von Miller, and that he is absolutely not on the block. Furthermore, he also contradicted La Canfora about Denver preparing for a fire sale, noting the Broncos still think they can turn things around this season, despite the 0-4 start.

Miller is one of Denver’s key players and a locker room leader. He’s also one of the NFL’s best defensive stars and has racked up 100 sacks in his career. So, if Denver were contemplating a trade as a precursor to a full-blown rebuild, the Broncos would get plenty of interest.

The NFL trade deadline is still almost a month away (Oct. 29), so there’s plenty of time for Denver to either turn its season around or change its mind about a potential fire sale.
