The Minnesota Vikings seem to be going down like flies even before the underdogs take to the field against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs Saturday afternoon.
One day after Stefon Diggs missed practice with an illness, fellow star pass catcher Adam Thielen suffered an ankle injury.
This is obviously not news that the Vikings and their fans wanted to hear. Thielen suffered through an injury-plagued regular season that saw him miss six games. It saw his production drop from 113 catches for 1,373 yards in 2018 to just 30 receptions and 418 yards.
Needless to say, Minnesota must have all hands on deck to take out the top seed 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. After all, San Francisco boasted the top pass defense in the NFL during the regular year.
Things are not looking great in this regard.
