Report: Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft to hash out issues after season

The New England Patriots have come under a microscope in recent weeks as reports of unrest have emerged painting the organization in an unfavorable light.

Since then, we’ve heard from Robert Kraft, who patently denied any insinuation he forced Bill Belichick from trading Jimmy Garoppolo. We’ve heard from Belichick, who made it clear he thinks his relationship with Tom Brady’s trainer, Alex Guerrero, is fine and that he’ll be coaching the Patriots again in 2018. And we’ve heard from Brady on more than one occasion as he maintains things are just fine between himself, Kraft and Belichick.

However, tension exists, whether it was there before the reports emerged or has since accumulated. As such, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Belichick, Brady and Kraft will meet up this offseason to hash out their issues.

For what it’s worth, this scribe doesn’t believe the issues that have been reported are quite as problematic as some media members would have you believe.

This is a team that has dealt with controversy and stress, perhaps better than any team in the history of the NFL. From Spygate to Deflategate and everything in between, it seems the tough times only serve to further galvanize what’s been an ironclad determination by Belichick and Brady to keep the good times rolling along.
