The Tennessee Titans have finally made that long-awaited move at quarterback.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Tennessee has replaced Marcus Mariota with Ryan Tannehill for next week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
This move comes after Mariota completed just 7-of-18 passes for 63 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions in a shutout loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
Tennessee received flack earlier in the week for announcing that it was going to make an announcement. Things certainly aren’t going swimmingly for this 2-4 team.
The hope here is that Tannehill can ignite an offense that ranks 28th in the NFL in scoring.
