The Oklahoma City Thunder have added some frontcourt depth. On Monday, it was reported that they signed center Nerlens Noel.
It’s a two-year deal, with a player option for the second year.

Noel played for the Dallas Mavericks last season. In 30 games, he averaged 4.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game. He shot 52.4 percent from the field and 75 percent on free throws. In his career, he’s averaged 9.3 points and 5.1 rebounds a game.
This is a pure depth move for OKC. Noel figures to spend his time with the Thunder backing up center Steven Adams.
