Report: Texans trade Duane Brown to the Seahawks

Duane Brown Texans

In a shocking blockbuster trade around the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks have reportedly acquired Pro Bowl left tackle Duane Brown from the Houston Texans.

Brown, 32, played in his first game of the season this past Sunday against the very same Seahawks team he is reportedly being dealt to. Remember, he had been a holdout after demanding a raise from his current six-year, $53.4 million deal.

This will be a major boon for a Seahawks team that has posted one of the worst pass-protecting offensive lines in football over the past several seasons. It’s one area general manager John Schneider needed to address in a big way. He did just that here.

In terms of compensation heading the Texans’ way, it’s being reported that cornerback Jeremy Lane and a fifth-round pick in 2018 and a second rounder in 2019 are headed to the Texans.

Way to be, Seattle. Amazing trade for the Seahawks here.
