This is some highly unfortunate news for young Phoenix Suns wing Kelly Oubre and his team.
Oubre missed the Suns’ last game Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers after suffering a knee injury in their previous outing.
Now, according to multiple media reports, the 24-year-old small forward suffered a torn meniscus. This will obviously cost him the remainder of the season.
Acquired from the Washington Wizards midway through last season, Oubre has been tremendous in the desert.
The former first-round pick will end the 2019-20 campaign averaging 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 35% from three-point range.
