After exiting Sunday’s game with an elbow injury, there is now reportedly growing concern in Pittsburgh surrounding the status of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s elbow.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Roethlisberger will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage to his elbow.

Roethlisberger exited Sunday’s game with an injury to his right elbow and was taken to the locker room before halftime. Pittsburgh put in Mason Rudolph to start the second half as Roethlisberger sat on the sideline with never any sign of a potential return.

Losing Roethlisberger for any duration would be a devastating blow for Pittsburgh’s offense. It has not looked the same without Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. Now it appears poised to lose its Pro Bowl quarterback for the foreseeable future.
