New Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is going to have himself a plethora of weapons as the six-time Super Bowl champ transitions from New England.

Tampa shocked the football world earlier this week, acquiring future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski from the Patriots.

In a vacuum, that seemed to suggest former first-round pick O.J. Howard could be moved after just three seasons with the team.

According to JoeBucsFan.com, that could very well be the case. The longtime Buccaneers insider reports that Howard wants to be traded.

This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Even before Tampa Bay acquired Gronkowski, the fit between Howard and head coach Bruce Arians seemed iffy, at best.

A first-round pick back in 2017, Howard was targeted just 53 times this past season. He entered the league out of Alabama as a catch-first tight end. The Bucs have not utilized him in this manner.

This report comes fresh off another report suggesting that a trade involving Howard heading to the Redskins for Trent Williams fell through.

It’s something to watch during the three-day NFL Draft starting Thursday evening.
