Embiid is truly a superstar, so even though he’s struggled to stay healthy during his early this isn’t surprising at all.
Last year, appearing in 31 games for the Sixers, Embiid averaged 20.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.5 blocks per game, even though he averaged just over 25 minutes per game.
A foot injury and subsequent setbacks kept Embiid from playing his first two years in the NBA. If he can stay healthy in the coming years, then the Sixers will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the East.
