Quinton Dunbar trade

Washington Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar has reportedly asked to either be released by the organization or traded.

This news comes by way of John Keim of ESPN, who noted that Dunbar spoke with a member of the Redskins administration Monday night. Keim also wrote that Dunbar had previously been in talks with the Redskins about a contract extension, but that no discussions have been broached on the topic since Ron Rivera was hired as head coach.

Earlier on Monday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports shared that Dunbar has no plans to attend the offseason program as he enters the final year of his current contract, which includes zero guaranteed money.

Last season, appearing in 11 games, Dunbar recorded 37 combined tackles, eight passes defensed and four interceptions.
