The Oakland Raiders would certainly have one heck of a running back group if we were to reverse time to 2014.
Already employing the likes of Doug Martin and an injured Marshawn Lynch, Oakland has reportedly signed former Denver Broncos Pro Bowl running back C.J. Anderson.

We’re really not sure what the point of this signing is. Oakland heads into Week 14 tied with the San Francisco 49ers for the worst record in the NFL at 2-10. Anderson, 27, put up a total of 104 yards in nine games with the Carolina Panthers prior to being released earlier in the season.
A 1,000-yard performer last season in Denver, Anderson earned a Pro Bowl nod with the team back in 2014. Though, it’s hard to imagine what exactly he’s going to bring to the table to close out what has been a disastrous season for the Raiders.
The one cool backstory here is that Anderson is a native of Northern California. It’s a homecoming of sorts for the veteran running back.
