The New England Patriots, already stacked to the brim with talent, are reportedly one of the teams that has expressed interest in potentially adding cornerback Richard Sherman.
As reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, they were inquiring before they added Stephon Gilmore.
Before the #Patriots signed Gilmore, they were among the teams that inquired. Others did, as well https://t.co/nUTwzIxa8W

That doesn’t rule out the Pats as a team that could still make a move to acquire Sherman. After all, Pete Carroll all but said his team was open for business on the Sherman trade front Wednesday (more on that here).
New England has tons of cap space still, even after their big moves in free agency.
The Pats also have a soon-to-be 40-year-old quarterback you might have heard of who is already the GOAT at his position. Yet Tom Brady has recently indicated he wants to play up to seven years more. And based on the way he’s molded his body, he might just be able to pull that off.
With that in mind, why not go all-in to bring in as much talent as possible to win a few more NFL titles before Brady is done?
