It’s rare to see a contending team move on from two valuable players at the trade deadline. But that’s exactly what we’ve seen with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday.
Fresh off trading running back Ty Montgomery to the Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay has dealt former Pro Bowl safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins.

An impending free agent, Clinton-Dix had previously indicated that he didn’t believe he would return to the Packers next season.
The 25-year-old safety upgrades an already elite Redskins defense as they look to win the NFC East moving forward.
A first-round pick back in 2014, Clinton-Dix has recorded 27 tackles, three passes defended and three interceptions on the season.
