The Green Bay Packers have reportedly found their next head coach in Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator, Matt LaFleur.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Packers have offered the job to LaFleur and told other candidates that the job is no longer open.

LaFleur was hired Tennessee’s offensive coordinator and play caller in 2018. His previous NFL jobs include offensive quality control coach for the Houston Texans (2008-2009), quarterbacks coach for the Washington Redskins (2010-2013), quarterbacks coach for the Atlanta Falcons (2015-2016), and offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams (2017).

ESPN’s Rob Demovsky added that the deal is finalized. Additionally, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, as well as the rest of the defensive staff, are expected to remain in Green Bay.

Under LaFleur in 2018, the Titans ranked 25th in total yards (4,998), 29th in passing yards (2,975), seventh in rushing yards (2,023), and 27th in points per game (19.4).

The folks in Green Bay will certainly be hoping that he can get more than that out of Aaron Rodgers and company.
