New Jersey Institute of Technology fired head coach Brian Kennedy on Monday after seven seasons, Stadium reported.

The Highlanders finished the regular season 7-23 and in eighth place in the America East. Only Albany had a worse conference mark than NJIT (4-12).

Kennedy went 81-123 in his tenure, which included just one winning season (2018-19).
