Report: NFL wrapping up its investigation into Ezekiel Elliott

According to a report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the league is wrapping up the investigation of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott has been under investigation by the NFL after his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence in July of 2016. The running back was never arrested and the Columbus City Attorney’s Office declined to file charges, per the report.

Elliott has since been involved in other questionable off-field incidents such as pulling a women’s top down and exposing her breast during a St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Most recently, Elliott was allegedly involved in a brawl when some witnesses claimed he punched a fellow patron in the nose.

Elliott faces a potential suspension from the league, but as of this report no official ruling has been made.

We will cover any news regarding Elliott as it breaks.
