Report: Mychal Kendricks permitted to practice with Seahawks while suspended

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

On his way toward rejoining the Seattle Seahawks, linebacker Mychal Kendricks is reportedly being permitted to participate in meetings, workouts and practices, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Rapoport also notes that Kendricks isn’t able to play in games or travel with the team yet, which of course makes perfect sense because his suspension isn’t due to be lifted until after Week 13.

Pro Football Talk reports Kendricks will be eligible to play on Dec. 10.

Kendricks was suspended by the NFL over insider trading charges, which he has admitted to and will be facing legal consequences for after the season ends.

Originally, Kendricks was suspended indefinitely, but after meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell he received eight games, including time served.
